Electronic monitoring relays PMDsigma

• All relevant values are configured via the menu-driven plain text display
• Ability to display values such as the current power consumption while the operation is running

Parameters are easy to set on the menu-driven display via the rotary knob (turn & click). This can also be done without tools. Once the values have been set, the knob is simply countersunk out of sight.

 

All the data and parameter settings from the configuration are stored on a chip card. It's very simple to transfer data when units are exchanged: the chip card is simply inserted into the new unit.

 

PMDsigma has 6 descriptive LEDs which display switch and fault conditions: Power, max, min, Out 1, Out 2, Fault. So diagnostics are available quickly when servicing and there's no need to connect external measuring devices.

 

PMDsigma units are available not only with plug-in screw terminals but also with spring-loaded terminals. These ensure that the wiring work is completed quickly and that the wires are held securely via the cage clamp.
A special feature of the PMDsigma is the new spring-loaded technology for opening specific terminal chambers: Each terminal point - in other words each input or output - has two terminal chambers, which on the PNOZsigma can either be opened together or separately. So a fitter can specifically remove the relevant wire individually, without pulling out any of the other wires unintentionally.

 

The PMDsigma housing is simply clipped on or off using spring clips - there's no need for tools. So top-hat rail assembly is particularly quick and easy.

 

To protect against manipulation and contamination, all the setting elements are protected by a cover flap, which can also be sealed if necessary.
