Centralised control of stand-alone machines

For a constant number of sensors and actuators, when there's no need to account for subsequent changes. These are connected centrally to the PSScompact safety and control system: - PSS 3047-3 for up to 47 centralised inputs/outputs
- PSS 3075-3 for up to 75 centralised inputs/outputs
Examples: coining presses, machining centres, ...

Centralised control of stand-alone machines with optional decentralised expansion via SafetyBUS p
|
Some of the control signals are sent and received decentrally via the safe, open bus system SafetyBUS p. This way you can reduce the amount of wiring involved on large stand-alone machines, yet still be flexible towards subsequent changes and expansions: - PSS SB 3047-3 for up to 47 centralised inputs/outputs
combined with decentralised input/output via SafetyBUS p - PSS SB 3075-3 for up to 75 centralised inputs/outputs
combined with decentralised input/output via SafetyBUS p
Examples: press brakes, mechanical and hydraulic presses, cable cars

Interconnection of two series machines

The PSScompact safety and control systems of two centrally driven stand-alone machines are interconnected via the safe, open bus system SafetyBUS p and are able to exchange safety-related information: - PSS SB 3047-3 - up to 47 centralised inputs/outputs, interconnection via SafetyBUS p
- PSS SB 3075-3 - up to 75 centralised inputs/outputs, interconnection via SafetyBUS p

Optimum structuring of plant lines extended over a large physical area. Data transfer between PSScompact safety and control system and decentralised periphery via the safe, open bus system SafetyBUS p: - PSS SB 3006-3 for up to 4 032 decentralised input/output points via SafetyBUS p
